The tech industry has been widely criticized for its lack of racial diversity. For the millennial generation, which is larger and more diverse than any generation before them, this lack of diversity is a real business problem.
However, many believe that the landscape is beginning to change.
The Minority Technology Foundation (MTF) is a small local non-profit looking to help change the landscape by boosting STEAM education and rallying the support of our community starting with the state of Maryland. Headquartered in Prince Georges County MD, MTF is seeking to enhance technology education for HBCU's , middle and high school students and improve technology access for minorities - especially our at risk youth.
MTF cannot exist or meet our mission without the support of local tech companies, volunteers and charitable contributions. Thank you for giving attention to this urgent need and we look forward to working with you or your organization very soon.
